Students and teachers in home insulation around Europe from a total of 5 different countries have just completed a virtual furniture workshop.
The students devised a piece of furniture that could be made using common tools and materials from their local builder’s dealer.
The workshop was inspired by the principles of Enzo Marie’s classic Autoprogettazione collection.
The students were not only challenged to design a chair, but also to create a manual so that the original furniture design can be easily “copied”.
The 80 students produced a total of 63 different designs, half of the furniture being modelled the other half in 1: 1.
