The queen’s favorite stool

Back in 1957, the Danish architect-couple Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen designed this elegant stool, which hat its premiered at the Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition. It aroused much attention thanks to its light and almost floating appearance and the many construction and design and craftsmanlike details. The Danish Queen Ingrid visited the exhibition and was so excited about the stool, that she immediately bought a copy.

Danish design furniture company Onecollection has recently relaunched the Kindt-Larsen stool, that has a seat height of 45 cm. The stool comes in walnut or ash and is upholstered with vegetable leather.
