In connection with the Danish state visit to China in late April, one of the many activities was the pop-up exhibition of Danish Design Days, which took place in one of China’s leading venues for design, Design Republic in Shanghai.

The purpose of the Danish Design Days was to make Chinese consumers, companies and media aware of the rich Danish design tradition and the many unique and exclusive products that the Danish design industry has to offer. A total of 15 Danish companies participated in the exhibition, including three representatives from the furniture industry, Fritz Hansen, Onecollection and Hay.

HM Queen Margrethe II made the inauguration of Danish Design Days at 28 April. During the tour, she received opportunities to talk with the exhibitors.
