A famous Danish design furniture classic – The Spool, designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1962 – has previously only been produced in light woods such as ash or oak. A few months ago, it also came in a color varnished version, and now there are even more choices.
Furniture manufacturer Snedkergaarden Them, who produces The Spool, is now launching the popular multifunctional furniture in a fine, distinguished-looking version in smoked oak. The smoked oak furniture gets a warmer tone that casts a different glow on it, thus giving it a new place in Scandinavian interior design.
The Spool in the smoked oak version will be available in two sizes: A small one with diameter 40 cm and height 35 cm, and a larger one with diameter 68 cm and height 48 cm.
