Revitalized Oxford Chair

The Oxford Chair was designed in 1965 when Arne Jacobsen was looking for a solution for the interior of St. Catherine’s College at Oxford University.

With its elongated high back, the chair quickly became synonymous with status and prestige.

The iconic chair has now been updated in two versions, both with a more modern look and thus renewed relevance.

Classic is made in monochrome black. With the new look, the chair  is being reflected more as a single and simple shape, as opposed to the traditional version with chrome frame, which is rather being experienced as a shell on a foot.

The Premium version has a thicker layer of foam, which makes the chair even more comfortable. The chair is upholstered in a new fabric and in many different colours. The new colour palette provides a clean and elegant look.

With the gentle, curvy silhouette, combined with the cool colours the Oxford chair will suit into any interior.
