Record turnover for office furniture powerhouse

Duba -B8 has supplied office furniture for Novo Campus in Bagsvaerd, Copenhagen.

Despite a declining market, Denmark’s largest office furniture manufacturer, Duba-B8 A/S, did it well in 2013. Revenue increased by 8 percent from the year before and ended at DKK 376 m., which is the highest level in the company’s 100-year history. This maintains Duba-B8’s position as the only Danish representative in the European office furniture industry’s Top 50.

Duba-B8 has succeeded in both strengthening its position in the Danish market as in increasing its exports, which is primarily sold to major Danish companies’ foreign subsidiaries. As part of this, Duba-B8 has expanded its sales and customer service organization in the Danish, Norwegian, Finnish and Singaporean markets, and has moreover invested in further development of the product portfolio.

“In particular, customized furnishing solutions for major corporations such as Siemens, Nordea and Novo Nordisk has been the cause of our growth. And this line will also be continued in the future,” says CEO Christian J. Flarup from Duba-B8: “We are proud this year to celebrate our 100th birthday with the strongest portfolio of customers in our company’s history. In 2013, we entered into agreements with several new large Norwegian, Danish and Singaporean companies, and our concern is to maintain this course which will ensure a continued profitable and sustainable development of Duba-B8,” Flarup adds.
