“Nursing chair” is in production again

In 1956 Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel designed an extremely spacious armchair with round and very organic forms.

It was unofficially called the “Nursing Chair”, probably because it had good seat and comfortable support for a nursing mother.

The chair has not been in production for many years and it could really only be found at auctions or at vintage furniture dealers.

Brdr. Petersen Polstermøbelfabrik has reconstructed the chair and named it the “Oda Chair” as a tribute to the Japanese furniture collector Noritsugu Oda.

Oda Chair is available in fabric and legs in oak, walnut or teak – read more here.
