Since 1916, the furniture manufacturer Brdr. Andersen Møbelsnedkeri in Hinnerup near Aarhus is well-known for its architect-designed wooden furniture in high quality. During recent years, the company has undergone a long strategy process, in which all facets of production, sales, marketing, product range and design have been analyzed and optimized. This has resulted in a sharper design line with the introduction of new products and designers.
The top of it all is the launch of a new visual identity that includes both a new name and a new logo. In the future, the company will simply be named “Andersen” – a name that can be used both at home and in international markets. The new logo is partly inspired by the tables, which are some of the company’s core products.
Along with the new strategy and profile, the marketing efforts will also change. So far it has been focused on the products and their functionality, but in the future it will be the company’s values and character that come into focus.
