Model 78 by N. O. Møller

Niels Otto Møller designed the Model 78 in 1962.

N. O. Møller – as he is often referred to – was both a carpenter and furniture architect.

He was active in the period referred to as “the golden age of Danish furniture”.

Model 78 was designed in 1962 and is made of teak, oak, cherry, walnut, rosewood and beech.

The seat is made of natural or black paper, alternatively padded with textiles or leather.

The chair is manufactured with and without armrests and has a sophisticated and elaborate look.

Between the lines, one senses the fusion of furniture architect, furniture carpenter and furniture manufacturer into the same person.

Today, the third generation has started in the company, which dates from 1944.
