At this year’s furniture fair in Stockholm, N. Eilersen introduced Joy, which is an evolution of the classic daybed sofa. Compared to most daybeds, Joy has a wider seat which makes it possible to create more positions by use of optional pillows.
Joy is not directional, which means that it can be placed in many ways in the room. The 6 centimeters high legs give the daybed an elegant drifting above the floor, and it can both stand along the wall or freely on the open floor. As accessories, Joy can be fitted with neck bolsters and pillows that make it possible to sit, lie or hang out in the wide bed.
Joy is built on a solid, but flexible frame in Scandinavian pine, and is upholstered with a sandwich structure consisting of foam in different hardnesses, making the couch both comfortable and stable. Joy has a removable cover and offers the opportunity to be upholstered in one or more colors. All pillows are filled with 100% duck down.
Joy comes into stores in Scandinavia, Europe, America and Asia during April.
