Brothers create multifunctional furniture

One of the premiere furniture items at this year’s furniture fair in Cologne was Neat, which is the name of this new multifunctional sofa bed from Innovation Living. In addition to being a compact sofa during the day and a comfortable bed at night, Neat can – by its optional accessories – offer both read or work light from the architect lamp mounted in the frame, and disposal or study space with the swing table on the armrest, which furthermore is available in a version with a built-in wireless mobile charger.

Neat is available in two widths, respectively 140 and 160 cm, which, due to an ingenious tri-fold fold-out bottom, can turn into sleeping places at respectively 115 and 135 cm width and 200 cm length. You can choose between two different mattresses: A 9 cm thick foam mattress or an inflatable air mattress that can grow up to 18 cm thick. Electric pump is included.

Neat has a black-painted steel frame, and there is an option to choose between several covers from Innovation Living’s extensive upholstery fabric collection.

Neat is designed by brothers Oliver and Lukas Weiss Krogh, both industrial designers – and also sons of Innovation Living’s longtime creative director, Per Weiss.
