The furniture exhibition Images of Danish Furniture goes well with the grand foyer area in the House of Industry in Copenhagen.
On August 1, the furniture exhibition Images of Danish Furniture was opened in the foyer of the House of Industry at Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square) in Copenhagen.
34 Danish furniture manufacturers participate in the exhibition, which is curated by trend specialist Anne Lise Kjaer, Kjaer Global, London. Virtually all genres of Danish furniture production are represented at the exhibition.
One purpose of Images of Danish Furniture is to tell the world that Danish furniture is more than the well-known design classics, and that the furniture industry is a diverse profession which constantly renews itself through design and product development. Therefore, only furniture that is in commercial production here in 2014 is shown at the exhibition.
Everyone interested is of course very welcome to visit the exhibition. Admission is free in the House of Industry’s business hours on weekdays between the hours 8 am – 5 pm. The exhibition will last until September 26. The address is H C Andersen’s Boulevard 18, 1787 Copenhagen V.
An opportunity not to be missed, if you are visiting Copenhagen during August or September!
