Finn Juhl furniture in Norwegian museum lounge

One of Norway’s leading art museums – the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo, designed by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano – has redecorated its information lounge with furniture, designed by Danish designer Finn Juhl and produced by Onecollection.

It was the museum’s desire to create an inspiring and pleasant oasis where visitors can immerse themselves in art books or exhibition catalogs, listen to audio files or otherwise get acquainted with the museum’s rich offer of art – and this is now a reality. The room is, inter alia, furnished with Finn Juhl’s Baker sofa (1951), Cocktail table (1951) and Pelican chairs (1940).

It is Onecollection’s retailer in Oslo, Kiil Interiørdesign/Montana by Kiil, who – in cooperation with the Astrup Fearnley Museum – has been responsible for the decor and furnishings of the lounge.
