Discover Denmark’s future architects and designers

Right now, 232 newly-educated architects and designers exhibit their projects from KADK – The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation.

Here you can experience examples of how the creative talents will solve tomorrow’s design challenges.

Above is an example from the exhibition – a stackable lounge chair braided with paper yarn, designed by Maiken Ditlev Lindhardt Johannesen.

There is generally a focus on how architecture and design can improve health and prosperity in a sustainable way.

The UN’s sustainable development goals have been the theme of KADK since 2016.

The young architects and designers grapple with the very big challenges we face in the world today. They show great responsibility for the reality they are part of, and they create concrete, useful solutions for both the private and the public sectors. There is so much need for their commitment and professional creativity when we have to reach the UN’s sustainable development goals. Therefore, I am very proud to send the new architects and designers into action.
