Pedestal tables like these are among the latest models in Dencon’s product range.
In August 2014, Danish office furniture manufacturer Dencon can celebrate its 50 years anniversary. The company was founded in 1964 under the name Erik Jakobsen’s Furniture Factory, and during the years the factory has produced many kinds of furniture. In the past 25 years, however, solely office furniture has been on the programme.
Dencon employs 65 people and has a production area of approx. 8,500 sqm. at its modern factory in Skive, Denmark.
Dencon is known in the market for its wide range of modern, ergonomic and functional business furniture: Writing desks, conference tables, canteen tables, lounge furniture, chairs, storage furniture and reception desks. The furniture comes in both large and small series, adapted to customer requirements in terms of sizes, colors, surfaces, etc.
Although the market for office furniture for several years has been under pressure, Dencon has managed to maintain a healthy economy. In the anniversary year 2013/14, financial results show that Dencon gained a surplus of approx. 7 million DKK, and thus the company appears as a viable supplier, who will also serve customers for many years to come.
Dencon furniture is sold through a network of professional office furniture dealers. The two largest markets are Denmark and Norway, and the company is currently working on developing markets in the rest of Northern Europe.
