Delta re-thought to meet new needs

Although it is 12 years ago that architect Michael H. Nielsen designed the Delta office furniture range for furniture manufacturer Dencon, it remains one of the best-selling office furniture programs in Denmark. It is not least due to the fact that Dencon continuously has managed to update the series, so it always meets the needs of the market.

One of the latest innovations is the introduction of a new type of narrow storage cabinets which match the standards in the rapidly growing markets in Scandinavia. In addition, a number of visual details as elegant new grips, new legs and elegant 45-degree miter joints have been introduced. New veneer surfaces such as white tinted oak and walnut are also added to the options.

When Delta furniture is to be used in open offices, it is now also possible to upholster both the doors and the back panels with fabric. This does not only look great but also has a sound-absorbing effect. Another option is to convert the back panel into a whiteboard. This provides both better space utilization and enhances the functionality of the office landscape.
