Crown Princess saw Danish furniture design in Germany

HRH Crown Princess Mary (in white jacket) visited Fritz Hansen’s exhibition at Stilwerk in Hamburg.

From 19 to 21 May 2015, the Danish Crown Prince Couple paid an official visit to Germany, specifically to Hamburg and Munich. The royal couple was accompanied by a numerous Danish business delegation, representing various sectors with large export interests in the German market.

One of the sectors was named Stylish Living, including companies in the fashion, design and interior business. One of the participants was design furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen, who in Hamburg has exhibition rooms rooms in the large design house Stilwerk. Here, the company’s collection of the 3107chair was exhibited, which has just been given a new color scheme, created by the Danish artist Tal R, who reportedly is one of the Crown Prince Couple’s favorite artists.

In Munich, Fritz Hansen opened a special exhibition of the famous armchair The Egg, also decorated by Tal R has also with unique patchwork covers.
