The architects Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup designed three lamps in the period 1968-1970 with a very clear expression: Confetti, Pendant Lamp No 1 and Calot.
The lamps are all based on geometric shapes and are made with the desire to create an aesthetic balance between light and shadow via reflected light.
The lamps are now being reintroduced by Carl Hansen & Son.
The circular shapes and simple expressions of the lamps are in an elegant dialogue with our furniture, and at the same time it is commonplace that, like the classic furniture, they contain eternal modernity. Furniture and lamps simply complement each other
Knud Erik Hansen, CEO
In addition to the white and black screen, the lamps are now also available in a new, dark green variant.
For the first time, the lamps are also offered with screens in polished brass.
All screens are white on the inside.
