Else Rikke Bruun and Nicolai Bo with their screen wall of ash wood.

The inspiration from textiles is evident when one looks at designer Else Rikke Bruun’s light screen wall of ash veneer. As in an enlarged weaving, the horizontal veneer stripes propels rhythmically in and out between each other, creating a structure that plays with light and shadow while shielding from prying eyes. The vertical elements that add stability to the screen wall, are made of solid ash.

The screen wall is produced at Nicolaj Bo’s joinery workshop in Copenhagen.
