Armchair sold at four times the assessment

At the design auction of Bruun Rasmussen, the great surprise was Helge Vestergaard Jensen’s sculptural armchair.

The chair of Helge Vestergaard Jensen is a very rare, sculptural armchair with a teak frame.

The assessment price was DKK 60,000-75,000. The chair went to four times the assessment and ended at DKK 280,000.

It is in line with Vestergaard Jensen’s most distinctive furniture, which is often made with just nylon cord.

It makes them very minimalistic in their expression, the primary thing being that, which is not.

All Vestergaard Jensen furniture pieces are rare, which also applies to this sculptural armchair.

The price of DKK 280,000 shows how much furniture is worth when the design is put together in the right way.
