A drop of personality

After more than 50 years of freezing, the Drop finally drips again. The light, sculptural shell chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the legendary SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, where it was companion to the more famous Swan and Egg chairs. The Drop chair was then only produced in small numbers, which gave it a cult status in the posterity. Now, modern production methods have made manufacturer Fritz Hansen A/S capable of relaunching it in a reasonable price range.

Despite its modest dimensions, the Drop is one of the chairs that by its mere presence is able to influence an entire room. Due to its high seating comfort, it is suitable for the furnishing of both private residences and public environments such as restaurants. In the lacquered version, the Drop is available in six different colors, with chromed or powder coated legs. In the upholstered version, you can choose between fabric or leather.
