Denmark is designated as guest of honor, when Germany’s largest international design event – Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW) – takes place in February 2015. Denmark and Danish design has been selected for the exclusive role as partner country, opening doors for Danish design for a strong positioning and promotion in the affluent southern German market.
The Danish efforts are focused in particular on the event Danish Design House Munich, which takes place from February 24 to 27th. The main events will partly be three lectures with different Danish design angles, and the other a “Danish Design & Delight Tour” around in Munich, where four Danish and Scandinavian showrooms, respectively at Fritz Hansen, BoConcept, Shapes and Lagom, will be visited.
The themes of the three lectures are:
Tuesday, February 24: “The Future of Smart Cities”
Wednesday, February 25: “Womenomics – a global business trend”
Thursday, February 26: “Healing Architecture”
