In 1971, Verner Panton designed the modular sofa system Pantonova for the Danish restaurant Varna.
The system consists of three different modules: Linear, Concave and Convex.
The modules are available in chromed or powder-coated steel.
Cushions are available in leather in the colours Brandy and Black, velour in the colours Aubergine, Camel and Sky and woven textile from Kvadrat in Black, Sand and Shell.
The seat modules can be used alone as chairs – or combined in sculptural forms.
The Pantonova sofa is also known for joining the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me from 1977.
