Today, the Mix Chair from 1930 designed by Kaare Klint has achieved icon status.

The armchair is a good example of Klint’s systematic approach to design.

The prevailing thought in Klint’s designs was the function of the furniture.

The furniture should be created according to the human being.

The purpose was to create timeless tools, where form and function went into a higher unit.

It is clearly seen in the Mix Chair, where he uses geometry and mathematics to solve the structure in a combination of shapes.

The loose, firm pillows provide comfort and emphasize the lightly rounded design.

The frame is made of solid wood and the seat / back is with leather upholstery.
