Pitch Black – shadows and transparency – is the theme of this year’s exhibition, showing 48 innovative furniture projects.
It is an exciting and unexpected exhibition – and exhibition place – namely the Lapidarium of Kings in central Copenhagen.
It is a daring idea to move so many experiments into the King Christian IV’s former brewery, which normally houses 387 royal statues and plaster casts.
But it works.
The overall impression is that the quality is high – and the work altitude is at a level that can inspire everyone in and outside the industry without many corresponding explanations.
And that’s just the nature of furniture explaining its own story without being accompanied by an encyclopaedia.
If you have not already had that good experience, you can achieve it until 30 October 2016.
