Hans-Christian Bauer has designed the PoSpiSto dining chair for FDB Furniture.

The name is an abbreviation for upholstered dining chair (In Danish POlstret SPIsestueSTOl), and that’s what it is.

PoSpiSto is available in six colour combinations; natural oak frame with dark blue fabric seat, grey fabric seat or black leather seat as well as a black oak frame with dark blue fabric seat, grey fabric seat or black leather seat.

PoSpiSto is a comfortable chair with upholstered seat and excellent ergonomics that lives up to the desire to “prolong everyday breaks at the dining table”.

The chair is playful with tight and soft shapes, which can be seen in the meeting with the soft, upholstered seat and the rounded wooden base, which gives character to the chair.

Here, some of Denmark’s leading furniture designers collaborate with newly-trained furniture carpenters, carpenter students, and upholsterers.
