Everyday Life – Signs of Awareness is the title of an exhibition held in Kanazawa, Japan.

Through time, Japan and Denmark have influenced each other culturally.

Both nations are praised for their design traditions, combining beauty and utility.

The exhibition takes place in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art from August to November.

Based on the history of the two countries about modern design trends, the exhibition looks at how designers explore new opportunities for the future.

The exhibition is co-curated by Cecilie Manz and shows works by Kay Bojesen, Louise Campbell, Nanna Ditzel, Poul Kjærholm, Erik Magnussen, Børge Mogensen, Anne Fabricius Møller and Margrethe Odgaard, among others.
