Carl Hansen & Son reintroduces the dining chair CH23

The simple and functional chair with the fine craft features has not been in production for the last five decades.

The chair is one of Wegner’s very first designs – designed exclusively for Carl Hansen & Son.

CH23 received a great reception at the presentation in 1950 and became the start of the cooperation with Carl Hansen & Son.

CH23 is a characteristic dining chair without armrests, which at the first glance appears as an extremely simple chair.

But the CH23 is rich in many and fine details. For example, the two cross-shaped plugs and the tapered veneer back piece that marks the meeting of the back and the frame.

Despite its good comfort and robustness, the CH23 does not occupy much space around the table.

CH23 is produced in oak and walnut as well as in a combination of these wood types with different surfaces.

The elegant plugs in the back piece are available either in oak or walnut of your own choice.

The seat is available with flotation in nature or black paper yarn.
